1. Racket Fit Model v1
Our scoring engine converts verifiable manufacturer specifications into standardized 0–10 Power and Comfort ratings. No subjective opinions are used.
Power Score Formula (0 to 10)
Power = (ShapeFactor × 3.5) + (BalanceFactor × 3.5) + (CoreElasticityFactor × 3.0)
- Shape Factor: Round = 0.20, Teardrop = 0.60, Diamond = 1.00
- Balance Factor: Low (<260mm) = 0.20, Medium (260–270mm) = 0.60, High (>270mm) = 1.00
- Core Elasticity Factor: Soft (EVA Soft/Ultrasoft) = 0.25, Medium (EVA Pro/HR3) = 0.65, Hard (EVA Hard/Dual Density Multi-EVA) = 1.00
Comfort Score Formula (0 to 10)
Comfort = 10 - ((Power × 0.60) + (WeightOver340g / 50g × 4.0))
Heavier rackets with stiffer cores transmit higher torsional vibration to the elbow and wrist, directly lowering the comfort metric. Minimum comfort is clamped to 1.0, maximum to 10.0.
2. US Padel Court Cost Model
Our turn-key capital expenditure (CapEx) model isolates materials from local construction labor across all 50 US states.
Turnkey CapEx Formula
CapEx_PerCourt = Kit + (Foundation × M_state) + (InstallFreight × M_state) + (Lighting × M_state) + (Permits × M_state)
- Kit (Materials FOB Port): $20,000 to $30,000 (standardized, unmultiplied)
- M_state: Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS OEWS) Construction Trade Wage Multiplier (US National baseline = 1.00)
Break-Even & Payback Period Formula
Monthly_Gross_Rev = Courts × (OpenHours/Day × 30) × Utilization% × HourlyRate
Monthly_Net_Profit = Monthly_Gross_Rev - (Monthly_Fixed_OpEx × Courts)
Months_To_BreakEven = ceil(Total_CapEx / Monthly_Net_Profit)
